The purpose of the Congress was to bring together Roma women from different European countries and, in a special way, Roma women.

These women were the protagonists of the Congress, so that Drom Kotar Mestipen wanted to ensure that the majority of participants were, effectively, Roma women, although professionals, researchers or other profiles also attended.
