The GAV\u00c0 2025 Youth Leisure Activity Leadership Course Has Begun!<\/strong><\/p>

At the Roma Women Association Drom Kotar Mestipen, we are launching a new edition of the Leisure Activity Leadership Course with 25 participants full of energy, enthusiasm, and eagerness to grow. Over the coming weeks, they will experience a comprehensive training program combining theory, practice, and mentorship with a strong intercultural and gender perspective.<\/p>

Important:<\/strong> This course is officially accredited by the Generalitat de Catalunya, meaning that the obtained certification is officially recognized and significantly enhances employability in the field of educational and sociocultural leisure.<\/p>

What Will We Learn?<\/strong><\/p>

  • Educational leisure activity design:<\/strong> cooperative games, artistic activities, environmental education, and field outings.<\/li>
  • Safety and well-being:<\/strong> group management, risk prevention, basic first aid, and child protection protocols.<\/li>
  • Key competencies:<\/strong> leadership, inclusive communication, conflict resolution, creativity, and critical thinking.<\/li>
  • Community focus:<\/strong> identity, cultural diversity, and intercultural mediation for safer and more respectful spaces.<\/li>
  • Planning and evaluation:<\/strong> how to prepare activity sheets, objectives, materials, schedules, and impact evaluations.<\/li><\/ul>

    • Experiential workshops and real-life simulations with role-playing.<\/li>
    • Internships at organizations in Gav\u00e0 and surrounding areas.<\/li>
    • Personalized mentoring and team-based project work.<\/li>
    • Official certification upon completion, accredited by the Generalitat de Catalunya.<\/li><\/ul>

      • Youth leisure activity leaders in youth clubs, community centers, and children\u2019s camps.<\/li>
      • Municipal programs: library activities, civic center events, playgroups, and summer programs.<\/li>

        • Network of contacts with youth clubs, associations, foundations, and municipal youth services.<\/li>
        • Job orientation: CV review, activity portfolio preparation, and interview coaching.<\/li>
        • Recommendation letters and individual follow-up after training.<\/li>
        • Additional training in digital skills (planning tools, communication, and material design).<\/li><\/ul>
